Using this distribution:

PC:
To compile dhtml.java, set your classpath to point to the
Netscape LiveConnect classes, which can be found in the
netscape/navigator/program directories as either java_301 or java40.jar,
and the improv.zip file. To compile ImprovApplet.java you'll also need
to set your classpath to point to the SGI Cosmoplayer classes which can
be found in netscape/navigator/program/npcosmop.zip.

Note for Netscape Communicator 4.0x users :
If you experience a VRML error with the demo, you may need
to move the npcosmop.zip file from the netscape plugins directory
(/netscape/communicator/program/plugins) into the netscape java classes
directory (/netscape/communicator/program/java/classes) in order for the
demo to work. You'll also need to repoint your classpath if you move the
npcosmop.zip file.

SGI:

To compile dhtml.java, set your classpath to point to the
Netscape LiveConnect classes, which can be found your .netscape
directory inside your home directory as either java_301 or java40.jar.
If you don't have such a directory see your Sys Admin about setting
this up. Unzip the improv.zip file and then point your classpath to
the improv directory which is created. To compile ImprovApplet.java
you'll also need to set your classpath to point to the SGI Cosmoplayer
classes which you should copy to your .netscape directory from
/usr/CosmoPlayer/java.
