To build on a Windows machine using VC++ 6.0, use the project file supplied
here. It assumes that
glut32.dll, glut32.lib and glut.h
are installed
as explained in the README file in the GLUT distribution.
Note that you have to use the libraries glut32.dll, glut32.lib
if you use the standard Microsoft's OpenGL library (opengl32.lib),
which is likely to be the case. However, if you have installed SGI's
OpenGL libraries in the past (unlikely) then you have to use
glut.dll, glut.lib.
If you have a different version of VC or a different compiler, you
wiull have to construct your own
makefile or project file. In VC++, use application type "Win32
Console Application",
and add the following libraries: opengl32.lib, glu32.lib
glut32.lib.

(UNIX only)
sample.dsp
