image analogies : artistic filters
Here are some results using image analogies for artistic filters. Given a source photograph and a painting or drawing of it, we automatically learn a filter that transforms another photograph into some approximation of that painting or drawing style. The source photograph is rarely available, in which cases we "fake it" by applying anisotropic diffusion to the painting to simulate the source photograph.
